First. Post. Ever

I should use this, my first blog post ever, to introduce myself. My name is Joel. I'm married to a wonderful wife (Julie) and we are currently expecting our first child.

I need to thank Fallout75 for suggesting I start my own blog and flickr account. It gives me a way to get my pen and paper out and do something creative. I've been pretty stagnant as of late. Busy with family, work, and school. Now I'll have something to keep me motivated. I'm now constantly thinking of my next post or my next project.

It also feels that I'm talking to a brick wall. Who is really out there reading my babble? I guess it'll just be good for me to get my thoughts out there, even if it is only a really attentive brick wall.
