Christian attends Texas A&M

Infant Cognition Lab, originally uploaded by JoelGonzales.

This picture is of Christian at the Infant Cognition Lab at Texas A&M University. The test was a controlled study gauging how Christian reacted to the moving cup and the noise made by the toy inside (in the far left you'll see a hand holding the cup). What they did was move the cup behind the yellow piece of wood and then shake it to make a noise. They were tracking Christian's eye movements and interest in the cup.

He did really well. He enjoyed sitting on mama's lap and drooled the whole time, following the cup like a champ.

We enjoyed it and I think we are going back in a few months for part two of the study.

Here is the "hand" playing with Christian before the study. There were five people in all helping out with the study, each one watching something different.

Here is Christian on camera following the cup. It's a split screen, you can see the yellow piece of wood. Look at the focus on Christian's face! :)
